Research 1
One artist that particularly inspires me is Joshua Hoffine, he is a horror photographer. His style screams digital manipulation yet the only editing he does is small sharpening, and contrast adjustements. His effects are done through setting up the image like a movie set.
Even though these are all done Photographically and not with Photoshop I believe the style could easily be replicated with Photoshop though not to such a good degree.
